Physical Description

Cathy is petite (5') older teenaged Caucasian whose hair color changes on a weekly basis. At various times, it has been red, brown, black, blue, green, white, tiger-striped, orange, purple, and blonde. Clothing-wise, she tends towards the t-shirt and jeans crowd, often with shirts that make gaming or anime references. Arms are usually covered. Current length is ear-short on her heart-shaped face.

Cathy is a petite 21 year old, with hair dyed black with electric blue tips, wearing a "+20 Shirt of Smiting" t-shirt over a rainbow leotard shirt, a faded and ripped pair of jeans, and a red choker with a heart-shaped tag that reads 'Cathy'. There is a silver coin on a chain that is just barely visible under her shirt. She is also carrying a beat-up backpack with sleigh bells attached to it. On her left hand is a wedding band in black with a gold Kanji character on it, and a silver claddagh with a ruby heart. Over all of this she is wearing a long winter coat.

Backstory and Personality

Cathy was born, the eldest child of a history professor and a nurse, in Cleveland, Mississippi on November 5th, 1987. An exceptional child, she excelled in scholastic activities, attending the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science. She graduated at the age of 14, a loner shunned by most of the people in her class. Because of her status as an outcast, she turned to reading, spending much of her free time in libraries, and becoming an expert in computer gaming and the occult, partially to explain the odd feelings she had at certain places (High Wolfblooded merit). She has a younger brother who’s now 17, and a baby sister that’s 5. The family blames the sister on her, as she hid the condoms from her parents.

After high-school graduation, she started classes at Mississippi State University, specializing in computer science. She passed her classes with ease, graduating with her BS in 3 years. She then dove directly into the Master’s program, specializing in computer security and internet use. This is where she entered game-play, with a semester or so left to go on her program. She got called up one day by a friend of hers, saying that he’d been given a library and knew how much she liked such things, so invited her to come to the place. She went down, and sure enough, there was a library there, with odd things such as windows that looked out on the street, but the building had no windows. She met several of the other people and started indexing the library. It was a collection from a group that ran around checking out strange and supernatural stuff, but the last living member died and left this library to the group of PCs.

Months pass. Cathy helps index the library with the help of a local priest, and move into a house with Heather and Sam. Heather (roommate) drags her out to a bar one night, where she got stinking ass drunk. Jacob decides to ‘help’ sober her up by giving her crystal Meth – and she got addicted. Cathy spend about 3 months going from high to high, during which time the priest is captured by the ‘werewolves’ (skinchangers). The night Cathy traded her virginity for drugs was the night that they found the priest – the ‘werewolves’ had done a ritual that turned him into an oracle and left him in the library for us to find. Cathy got dragged there by Heather and the others – and seeing Sam carve questions into the priest’s body (blood coming out of the wounds) and the answers coming out of the corpse mouth shocked her sober. Things only got worse after that.

December 2006, she was dragged along to a cave system under Jackson, MS, where the end result was Sam killing her friend Charlie to save them all. She also confronted the Bull-god (spirit from Assyria) for the first time, though it wasn’t the first time for the rest of the group. After escaping, Cathy went into a drug-rehab for Meth, where she spent the next several months.

She emerged from Rehab, stronger, and half-convinced that all of this was a drug-induced dream. At least, until she went to visit Heather at “Mr. White’s house”, for that is where she saw the statue that called blood to itself, as well as the skin-changers who attacked seeking a silver disk, and they eventually killed one of the humans there in payment for them wiping out the rest of the Bull-god’s minions. Cathy decided then and there to get out of Mississippi, and fast-tracked her way through the system and started basically running.

She ran to Atlantic City, where she met Sija and crew of the Red Boot Pub. This association garnered the attention of Globotel, while she started her occult computer coffeeshop. Patrick (rat-skinchanger) attempted to get her wrapped around his finger and barefoot and pregnant. It failed. Globotel broke into her apartment, got DNA samples from her for testing; and then tested her and others for their own purposes.

Back when Patrick was attempting to wow her, she met Joel. Joel and her started dating, and she realized that she was falling in love with him. While their relationship was rocky, eventually it settled down Two weeks after she turned 21, she married Joel. And they are microwaveably cute together.

She has since joined with Black Wolf Security, moonlighting as she's bored. She has access to quite a number of individuals with slighly mysterious backgrounds, who she can call upon, as well as resources she doesn't share with others.

Most of my inspirations from this character comes from people I have known who are not in the Cam. These are people I grew up with, or attended school with. As such, I refuse to name the guilty parties, but they know who they are.
