Best Practices
Understand what the Camarilla Fan Club is
The Camarilla Fan Club is designed to create a fully functional World of Darkness that spans across the globe, much in the same manner as an MMO ((Should probably replace with Club Director's Mission statement, but I can't find it.))
Find your local group
Before deciding to partake of any product, it is best to give it a test drive to see if it is best for you.
- Poke around this wiki. See what people have built or done in our global chronicle. There is so much creativity in the organization it hurts.
- Review local Domains in your area. On the left-hand side of this page, there is an area labeled as 'club'. It goes into detail about joining, resources, and then there's the Domain page. This is largely kept up to date with contact information for the local coordinator and storyteller, who you will likely interact with on a regular basis.
- Inquire about games. Find out about the meat of the Camarilla. The chronicle spans the entire globe, but you can get your feet wet in your local city, or online.
Try a membership
The Camarilla offers a six-month trial membership free of charge. This allows you to participate in many levels of the club before committing to the full deal. Some frequently asked questions can be found on the Camarilla Web Site.
Taking the plunge
I. Sign into the White-Wolf Store to begin the steps of buying your first membership.
II. The Camarilla Fan Club Membership is one of the top sellers on the store, so you will likely see it on the right-hand side of the page.
III. Select "existing" (since you already used a trial membership, right?), and enter in the number that was assigned to you.
IV. Sign in with the same email address you used when establishing your Camarilla membership and complete the purchasing process.
Voile! You are now a card-carrying member of the Camarilla. Well, actually you will be receiving your card and welcome letter in the mail shortly.
