Report Template

In creating a character template, I cannot seem to get the page for our freehold (dormant fire, in this instance) to work in the character summary box at the top of the individual character pages.. help? Thanks M'lissa - m.wetherellmoore@gmail.com


I have been trying to create a character template, however my username gothikitty1969 is appearing rather than my character name which is Scarlett Black. If you click on the link on the list, it will take you to my character template. Been trying to figure out a way to fix it on both circle of the crone 2 and the Mekhet 1 status page. Can this be fixed?

Can't Create a Page

Just a few notes... The new wiki setup is far more complicated than the old setup... I can't even figure out how to create pages for my pc's. In the Bio Template it says

1. Type your PC name into the Text Box Below
2. Click Create Bio

However, there is no text box or create bio button to be found anywhere on any of the template pages for any of the venues. I tried just going to a specific group and writing in the pc name which is how I did it with the old wiki, but that doesn't seem possible either... when you click edit it doesn't even show you the info that was on the page (pc names, etc) just the summary thing... Also the admins page doesn't give any form of contact info for any of the people, so there doesn't seem any way of making contact to ask for help or anything.. except to type in this box and hope that at some point someone happens to look at it. The old wiki pages were very user friendly and helpful for those technologically inept like myself... this one is so far just being a headache :( in its defense, its better organized and prettier, but I'd give those up for being able to actually make it work for me.

Response Yes, this is just one of the many places that you can report problems. Once we get all the admins finalized, we will get the contact info placed on there. Sorry for the confusion in the early state of this project.

Disambiguation page?

Hello. I've noticed that there is another PC out there with the same name as mine. How do I create a disambiguation page for this situation?

Update: Thanks for the help on this issue. If anyone else has the same problem, then contact the admins for help in setting up the disambiguation page.

Suggestion: Favorite Sites

Hello; not really a problem, but there was no place for suggestions. Can we get the option where if we are logged in it will allow us to save sites to show up even if it is on a side page or something, as originally I could not find some of the ST resources on here, and had to keep searching for them, vs. knowing I would come back to them, add them to a favorite page area.

Problem: vampire apperaing on the wrong page multiple times

Hello for some reason trhere is a mekhet Invictus who's template keeps appearing at the top of a number of pages across multiple venues. I've noticed it on the pages for the mages wander and Harmony and the Werewolf Ash Avery, three different characters by 3 different players. It doesn't appear in my edit history. I'm on IE 8 and haven't confirmed anyone else can see it.

Resolution: I have found the issue and think I have fixed it. Are you still having issues?

Problem: Cannot redirect to a category

Hello;

I'm attempting to help a few domains set up wiki's for their games, but the bio templates lead to the category: (city) (venue) page. Can I set up a re-direct to either the category page to lead to the actual page, or the actual page to lead to the category so that there isn't two different types of pages.

Let me know which city pages your working on. The category:<City>, <STATE> <Venue> template is the camwiki standard and all cities should be using it. (We're gradually moving over the ones that aren't.) So I suggest just using the pages automatically generated by the PCSummary templates and put a redirect from the current page to that category. (Note that putting a colon before the word "category" will prevent all your redirects from appearing on your category page.
