Caste Mark
From Exalted Wiki
All Celestial Exalted are branded on their foreheads with a sign of their status. This Caste Mark, like the Anima, is usually invisible, but can be seen when an Exalt spends Essence. No two types of Exalted share a caste mark, so they may be used to distinguish one type of Exalt from another.

Solar Caste Marks
The Caste Marks of the Solar Exalted are displayed below. Each one symbolizes a different Caste of Solar, based upon the daily positions of the sun.

Abyssal Caste Marks
Abyssal Exalted, as corrupted Solars, have caste marks identical to those of the Solar Exalted, save that Abyssal markings appear to be black brands that were seared into their flesh. With the flaring of an Abyssal Anima, the brands begin to bleed like open wounds.

Terrestrial Markings
Terrestrial Exalted do not have caste marks, but do have elemental markings that sometimes appear on their bodies as they increase their Essence. Wood Aspects, for example, might grow a layer of bark upon their shoulders, while a Water Aspects eyes might become as deep and black as the depths of the ocean.
Infernal Caste Marks
Infernal Exalted, though corrupted Solars, are unlike the Abyssal Exalted in that their caste marks are not identical to those of the Solar Exalted, rather, they bear marks indicative of their patron Yozi.
