The Salinan Working, named after its principle architect, the First Age Solar sorceress Salina, was an epic act of magic that embedded the Five Ordeals of sorcerous initiation into the very fabric of Creation so that sorcery could never be lost via unique rituals of the Adamant Circle. Salina's success with the Salinan Working prompted other Solar sorcerers of the First Age to plan other workings.

Discrepancies

While much of the literature of Exalted either implies or directly states that the Working was a process involving mighty ritual Adamant Circle spells at all five Elemental Poles, crafted by Solar, Lunar and Sidereal sorcerers, recent developments in Charm technologies (as of the Revised Dreams of the First Age Solar Charms) and author commentary point to the Working having been accomplished by use of Lore Charms similar to Shinmaic Calibration. This is a dramatic shift from Exalted literature regarding the Salinan Working.

You can't quite get the Salinan Working off just these Charms, not for all of the universe, but later Charms are pointed at making and unmaking such effects on universe-wide scale. I can't promise when they will be written, but just know that they are there.
