*[[Alternate Throwing Rules]] - These rules are based on the what little rules are given in the Scion book. Plus a little extrapolation that results in a fair rule set that follows all presented rules, White Wolf tradition of keeping Ranges short, and prevents Scions lacking Epic Strength from throwing a grenade further than a sniper rifle. These throwing rules, I believe are what White Wolf intended, not a Strength 3 Athletics 3 Scion throwing a grenade 120 yards when a Peacemaker Revolver looses impact velocity at 80 yards. No offense to the author of the previous rules.

[edit] Clearing Things Up

This section includes rules created with a view to clarifying some of the ambiguity in the core game system.

  • Art, Craft, Science, or Other? - Which of these abilities does a particular skill work best as specialty for, if any? Let's see we can't help with that.

[edit] Changing the Game

This section includes various House Rules created by players and fans with a view to expanding or modifying the core game system.

  • Relic Pricing System - Designed a new relic but unsure how many points to make it cost? This rpg.net-designed Relic pricing system allows you to do just that!
  • Social Combat in Scion - Converts the Social Combat rules from Exalted 2nd Edition into the rules-set for Scion: Hero.
  • Weapon Listing - An Expanded List of Weaponry with a few cannon weapons rebalanced
  • Animal Classifications - Alternate list of animals for use with the Animal Purview to allow using classifications instead of specific animals.
  • Overland movement rates in Scion - Rules for figuring out how many mph your Scion can sprint, how far they can get in a hour, and how long it takes them to run a Marathon.
  • Apotheothena - Rules for former mortals who have been divinely-empowered, suitable as an alternate type of Player Character as well as for NPC's.
  • Legendary Mortals - Optional rules for mortals capable of forging their own Legends, thanks to their particular fatebound role.
  • Improvised Weapons in Scion - Quick and dirty rules system for Improvised Weapons that handles everything from a broken bottle to the Eiffel Tower.
  • Power Mastery - These are rules which allow PCs and NPCs to vary the affects of their powers in order experience their divine gifts as domains of influence, instead of individual powers.
  • Advanced Followers & Creatures - These are rules Expand followers and creatures into a set of purchasable traits allowing for greater diversity. Mass combat rules, and new Legend raising options included.

These Throwing Rules are now Obsolete. Actually throwing rules are printed in Scion: Demi-God on page 54. The Rules have been left here for those that either prefer these or do not yet have the Actual book.

  • Throwing Rules - By some strage quirk of Fate these were not included in Scion: Hero. As throwing is refered to several time in the rules and Scions are very likely to want to toss cars and manhole covers at each other, these were inspired from rules printed in Exalted 2nd edition and Aberrant with a few unique twists.
  • Alternate Throwing Rules - These rules are based on the what little rules are given in the Scion book.
  • Alternate Character Progression Rules - Rules meant to provide alternate means for advancing a character rather than using experience points. In this system, characters advancing by using their abilities.
