Werewolf: The Dark Ages is a historical setting for Werewolf: The Apocalypse that takes place during the dark medieval period, around 1197. The revised edition (Dark Ages: Werewolf) takes place in 1230. The Dark Ages line both expanded on the history and setting of Werewolf: The Apocalypse by adding historical data and filling in gaps.
