Fighting Style: Archery

● Body Blow

Inflicts an attack that can cause a victim to lose their action.

●● Duck and Weave

Improves Defense against brawling attacks to the better of Dexterity or Wits.

Make multiple attacks within the same round of combat.

A powerful, crippling blow that can knock a target unconscious.

Empowers fists to the point that they can deal lethal blows to the opponent.

● Testudinem Formate

A tortoise formation formed from a collection of shielded warriors, granting a number of defensive bonuses.

●● Ciringite Frontem

A collection of warriors hold a point from being taken, no matter what.

●●● Cuneum Formate

A wedge formation launched at the enemies at speed, scattering the enemy's formations.

●●●● Orbem Formate

A circular formation that grants supreme defense to whoever is at the center, defending them at all costs.

●●●●● Contendite Vestra Sponte

Each warrior in the formation attacks in unison, allowing for an unprecedentedly powerful strike.

Fighting Style: Gladiatorial

A lifetime's worth of experience in the flashy and trickery-based ancient sport of gladiatorial combat. (VTR: Requiem for Rome, pp109-110)

● Stunning Attack

A loud and terrifying attack that distracts the opponent, and throws them off balance.

●● Weapon Slap

The enemy's weapon is knocked to the side, preventing it from being used defensively.

●●● Lethal Accuracy

An attack targeting weak points in the opponent's armor, allowing the user to pierce it easily.

●●●● Brutal Sacrifice

The user sacrifices his weapon in order to embed it in the enemy, crippling them and producing a difficult situation for them to get out of.

Fighting Style: Kung Fu

Your character has training in the classical defensive art of Kung Fu. (WOD: Core Rulebook, p111)

● Focused Attack

It becomes significantly easier to concentrate on hitting a specific part of a target's body.

●● Iron Skin

Adds a small amount of armor against physical blows.

●●● Defensive Attack

Allows for an attack that is less powerful, but improves the user's Defense.

●●●● Whirlwind Strike

A series of attacks, which can become quite devastating for users with high Dexterity.

●●●●● Lethal Strike

Empowers strikes to the point that they can deal lethal blows to the opponent.

Fighting Style: Langschwert

The Langschwert, or Heavy Sword, is one of the hardest melee weapons to master, but can be powerful and useful with this Fighting Style. (WOD: Armory Reloaded, p83)

● Wards

Improves Defense by using the size of the Langschwert for to deflect attack.

●● Fool's Guard

Tricks the enemy by using an attack that looks like a guard action.

●●● Half Sword

Trades range for power by using the sword at midpoint, instead of the end as normal.

●●●● Doubling Cut

Sacrifices Defensive ability to make two attacks within the same round.

●●●●● Wrathful Cut

Allows an All-Out Attack that is even more powerful than it normally would be.

Carthians tend to attack in groups, and have special training in order to allow them to do so effectively. (VTR: Carthians, p183)

● Feint

Sacrifices damage from an attack action in order to let allies catch them off-guard.

●● Fool's Guard

The more Feints have been successfully pulled off against a target, the more effective this attack will be.

Your character has learned both to attack with and respond to fighting with two weapons. Requires the Ambidextrous Merit to be used to full effect. (WOD: Core Rulebook, p112)

● Whirling Blades

A Dodge action can be used against multiple weapons in a single turn.

An attack that avoids with one weapon, and strikes back with another.

●●● Focused Attack

A double attack focusing both weapons on the same target.

●●●● Fluid Attack

A split double attack that hits one target, then another.
