When a mommy and daddy love each other very much...

Hyde Wikkers, born on September 18th, 1981, in Waterloo Illinois. His parents raised him foot-washing baptist, fire and brimstone and so on so forth. And he was fine with that, until he turned 13, when he started to think, "Wait a sec, this makes no sense." So he started to read up on Paganism, he finally decided to tell his parents at about 14, which looking back, wasn't a great idea. At 14, one can't make spiritual decisions. But his parents thought otherwise, and kicked him out. From there, one of his friends parents thought it was a terrible think and took him in. He began to rebel at this point, but nothing much. At sixteen, he met the girl of his dreams. And they dated, and were almost married. From sixteen to 21, his life is a colourful blur of happiness. Until that fateful night.

And drunk driving pisses on another dream.

The day Hyde turned 21, he was working a a bar. He had a natural talent for it and make okay money. But when he started flair bar tending every night...he made so much money it's not even funny. And when he turned 23, he was still amazingly happy and his now fiance was also. Hyde had always believed things happened for a reason, and one day, his fiance was t-boned by a drunk driver. Three cars in front of him. This made no sense to him. At all. He saw her die, and he hated himself for not being able to do anything about it. The drunk guy stumbled away from the scene. And thus his eyes were opened.

You know how a bad acid trip goes?

Well, it's something like this.

Hyde tossed in his large bed for a few minutes before sitting straight up, it was the same forsaken dream he always had. Chased down and slaughtered in front of Hyde's eyes, but he could do nothing. She was just out of reach, by fractions of an inch. Hyde punched his bed, "Why the hell does this keep dream keep coming?!" He shouted above the silence. His hair fell around him like a curtain, then he saw water hit his bed, he realized he was crying, it was the first time in years.

Hyde slid off the side of his bed and went to his closet, where for the first time, he looked at himself with nothing but his eyes. He actually saw himself, not what he had been seeing for years. What he actually was. Then he snapped out of it and brushed it off. He threw on a shirt and and walked out of his door, still living in waterloo, he didn't bother to lock his it. He looked around the streets, it was about three thirty in the morning his watch told him, so he began to wonder. His mind, miles away, thinking, 'I could have stopped that, if I would have had the right timing, the right everything...' Hyde began to realize that some people just had the amazing timing. It didn't make any sense why he couldn't. Why can everyone else have the most amazing off timing and be where they are needed every time. He snapped out of his stupor once again to realize he was halfway across town in the middle of the street, he stopped and looked at the ground, then to his left. There was a cave, and it had a neon sign that said open...

"what the..." He mumbled to himself before walking in. Once he got inside, the surrounding had changed once again, this time to the inner court of a castle, with a table taking one side of the room. He sat down and watched the fanciful feast before him unfold.

A knight with gleaming gold armour made his way up to Hyde with a chalice to envy the gold of his armour. "Before I give you this succulent beverage fit for our king, sitting on the throne, I ask but a simple favour. Take this," The knight pulled a red robe out of nowhere and handed it to Hyde, "Take this to the man just across the room." Then the Knight stood like a statue.

Hyde looked across the room and saw a man, his head was down and it looked as if he was passed out. Hyde shook his head and began to walk across the room. It wasn't that large, but it seemed to take forever. He began to run, and it still seemed like he was further away than when he started. He began to panic and look around for anything noticeable, there was nothing then, not even a room, just him. When he looked toward the way he was supposed to be going, he saw himself again. "You couldn't save her, just like you can't do this simple task, you're useless." The image said. And it kept repeating it. It was beginning to over lap. Hyde collapsed and thought, 'i can beat this...i don't have to put up with myself...' Then Hyde realized something, he did. He had to put up with himself, no matter what that was, he had to put up with the fear and pure hatred of himself. There was no way to not live with it, he couldn't stop what happened, and he was almost okay with that now.

When he looked up, he was at the feet of the man slouched over in the chair. But now, he realized the man didn't have a head...but he wasn't bleeding...Hyde draped the robe around the body and started his way back.

"This one is for you, good sir." The knight said, setting the chalice down. Hyde said nothing, still feeling a bit tired and groggy from the lack of sleep lately. Eventually, Hyde had made his way through three such chalices, and stood up, instantly, he was somewhere else completely. Before him lie lush plants and small animal, seeming to lul him towards the giant tower in front of him. Without much of a fight, he decided to follow. The only thought in his mind 'Hey, I got nothing else to do...' he eventually ended up and what almost looked like a tree, with a giant book hovering above it. He pushed himself against the tree and almost melded into it. Then the memories started to flood back, his fiance, laying a pile of hundreds, slaughtered in the same way...

But he was utterly calm, nothing seemed to matter anymore, just him, floating. Then, solid ground appeared below him, and in front of him, a wall, with names, hundreds of them. He knew everyone of them, he didn't know how, but he had a connection each of them in someway. A thought popped into his head, and it wasn't his own. Sign the wall it said, do it and you might be able to save her... Instantly, Hyde was sober once again. And with that, he started to try to scratch his name into the wall. After much work, a crude name was there. And Hyde was no longer in the tree. Instead, he was outside his friends house, carving his name into his door.

He was an Awakened now, he knew the secrets.

And then there was one...

After he awoke, he decided to move someplace else...too many memories in the small town. He looked to Chicago as a place to forget. He is now Twenty-six and living pretty happily in a small apartment.

Since then, he has been working in Said Bar, making a nice lifestyle for himself.

What the hub-bub about the Street is! (Quotes)

(Feel free to leave some!)

"He's a good man.Weak will, maybe things could have been different between us, but he chose his path. I wish him well" Qi

"He's a nice enough fella, but he needs to get a haircut, a real job, and pants without so many chains. That'd be a start anyway." Edward Derby

"Decent guy. I mean, flipping those bottles around has to wear on you after a while. That's more pressure than I think I can even handle. But from what I've seen, he's got his stuff together. Holding down a steady job isn't easy these days..."-Craig Dalquest Senior Patrol Officer CPD

"Best friend I've ever had. I guess that could come from how long I've known the lad, but there's nobody I would trust more."-Shane Conroy -Friend since High School

"{insidious giggling}" - Unknown.

"You know...of the three guys I asked not to disappear on me, only one--Az--asked why. For all that he's a joker and a fun guy, he's perceptive. And he's really a good guy." - Sheila Casey

"Sweet guy, makes great drinks, and is white as a ghost. I hope to God to never see him in anything but his clothing... I love that guy to death." - Ireland Stonewall

"Can't say what kind of man he is, but he's a fine bar-tender. Chats you up when you feel like it, and knows when to just leave you be. Still, youngest bar-tender I've seen." - Jakob Treadway

"Oh, how nice it is to be in love. But it is one of the only things that can strike terror into an Iminir's heart and soul, even if one doesn't show it on the outside. I am glad you aren't weak, Az, that means you can protect yourself well enough until I get there." - Adranna Eriss Rahu Beta of the Winter Lords

"It's funny. Guys like me, we don't keep friends very often. I may be loyal to a fault, but I tend to be, too much for most people to handle. Az is kind of like, water to my eternal flame, he keeps me chill. To be honest, if there is one single person I trust more than anyone else when it comes to our kind, it would be Az, someone I consider to be one of my true friends. I got his back, now and forever. I can only hope he feels the same towards me. Now...where's my Jaaegerbaum!?!?" - Cayden Tsubasa Ryuji

"This guy is my favorite bartender, and the Said is all comfy-like when all the wierd stuff isn't happening there. Still, I'm just glad the spider-monkey from the hedge wasn't building a nest in the ladies room." - Emma Heiskari, Emerald Courtier

"I don't think Az really knows just what he's done for me. I came into this bar angry, just wanting to get shitfaced, and he offers me my first steady paid gig since... since my major lifestyle change. Suddenly I have a small but steady income, can buy three square a day, and don't have to sleep in woman's shelters or public libraries anymore. I owe that skinny bastard everything, and I suspect he's too much of a stinker to actually expect anything but song requests in return." - Gail Ellijay
