Through a child's eyes (The beginning)

He was born in 1922 in Mexico City, Mexico. When he was Just five years old a group of vampires killed his family and took him deep into the jungles outside of La Paz, Bolivia. He was to be the sacrifice for their Day of the Dead ritual during the Aztec month of Miccailhuitontli, but Toraidio the man who would one day become his sire, steped in and saved him and raised him as his own. Never telling the boy he had any part in the murder of his family and makeing him believe he was the one who saved him from dieing himself. Seeing the boy as an asset, if molded right. He made the boy his thrall. As he got older Toraidio taught him books of all sorts, the rituals of his people, and about there gods and when the boy became a teenager Toraidio took him out in the jungles and showed him how to hunt and fight, always telling him you can be formal but still have a strong fist. He looked up to Toraidio in every way possible, he did everything in his power to make him happy. By the time he was 16 he came to love the man like a father. Having no real recollection of his real parents. At 18 he passed the many painful and mind shattering test of manhood and sacrificed a pig on the alter in the middle of there little village, which purified it for another year.

Secrets in the jungle (How he got his fangs)

ventrueSymbol_bl.gif crone.jpg 301827521_65ad8b6c21_o.gif

As you can imagine the 1940's in Bolivia where hard times. The government was a mess and war seemed to be every where. Little villages such as there's had no chance and the fact no one liked the way things where ran did not help. So for the next 10 or so years he found him himself right there with Toraidio playing the student once again, as he was taught what it really takes to survive in a life or death situation. He worked hard trying to take care of the people and handle the politics of what to do. Which led to him taking up arms and fight the oppressors, cause it seem to matter where they ran the war followed. By the time he hit his mid twenties he felt like a battle worn soldier, but at least it seemed as if the war was ending and the government was put back in order with a new Republican leader and they had there freedom again. Though they had suffered great loss they still lived and decided to settle away from the place he had called home for so many years and make a new start. They ended up settling down in Tarija near the border of Paraguay. The next few years where spent building, organizing and making sure that they where secure in there new home. By the time this was done Spiro was 28 and wondering if there was more to life. So after many long talks with Toraidio, he finally showed him what he was and and what he planned to make Spiro all along. Spiro was not scared at all and wanted to become what Toraidio was. Seeing as he looked up to the man more than ever. So the rituals where set up for the man to die and yet walk again as a new person. In the ritual, a female captive was beheaded while standing. He push her body around until it fell, allowing the blood shed to cover as much ground as possible and so proving he could handle there rights and death its self. On the alter where most of the blood was Toraidio laid him down in it and he was embraced.

Hatred and Pain (Why he hates the Lancea)

untitled-9.jpg

1950 proved he knew very little about the world he lived in and as always he found himself playing student to Toraidio once again. He spent the next few years with Toraidio practicing his vampiric skills. Being taught to pick victims and hunt. Toraidio also showed Spiro the practices of the Ventrue and rituals of the Nahualli which he was to become one day when he had proper understanding of life and death, he was also ritualisticly beat into the Crone during this time. By 1955 the Lancea came to there land and they hated the Nahualli for there rituals and practices. They began a bitter campaign to kill off Nahualli and branded them heretics and pagans. This campaign lasted til 1962 and the Lancea almost killed all of the Nahualli. Only a handful managed to survive and most of them are still in hiding to this very day. In the Spring of 1962 the Lancea managed to find there village and burn it to the ground. Spiro was in shock when he came back to the village after along day of fighting and seen what had happened. He looked everywhere for Toraidio or anyone for that matter but there was no one there. Thinking Toraidio was dead, he took off knowing this was a war he could not win on his own. He left, Filled with hate for the Lancea.

Lost (Screaming on the Inside)

kdn2ap.jpg

For the next 8 years he spent his time alone and on his own in the wilderness, wishing to have nothing to do with anyone or anything. All he wanted was to die himself, he even tryed starveing himself into torpor, but it got the better of him and he started feeding on the animals. It was like he was screaming, but all that came out was a wisper. He began to hate everything about his life and all he knew. Slowly slipping deeper and deeper into insanity, he fliped out and found a near by small little village and destroyed it, kill everyone and everything there. Seeing that it changed nothing, or made anything any better he came out of it abit and moved on, knowing that word would get around and there would be a monster hunt so to say. He headed to Santa Cruz, Bolivia to start a new life.

life.jpg (Starting over)

sad.gif

While in Santa Cruz he had to learn what it was like to be on his own, so he started to get involed in the local afairs of the kindred there. Makeing a name for himself in the fact that he was a hell of a strong arm and rather took a likeing to the busines aspects of things. He got into importing and exporting a number of the local products. Spiro spent the next few years earning a good liveing off it and just trying to foget all the things that had happened in the years past. Til right around 1970 he there was a knock at the place he was staying and when he opened the door it was Toraidio. Some how the man had made it after all. The man explain that he made it out, but ended up falling into abit of torpor due to his wounds. It did'nt matter to Spiro, all he cared about is that he was okay. They spent there time up in til 2007, just makeing money and becomeing more well known in the business side of things. Everything was good till one night in late 2007, Toraidio finally came out and told Spiro that he was the one reposnsible for his parents dieing and his life being messed up. Spiro became filled with hate, filling like everything he knew was a lie and he developed a hate for the man he once loved so much. Spiro tryed to fogive the man and make things work, but just could not do it. Finally he walked away, he visited Tarija one last time and then head to the states. Going on as always, he ended up in Chicago. Likeing the feel of Chicago he settled down there....

Chicago (Well it's better than the jungles)

When ariveing in Chicago, he proved to be a hell of a stong arm and yet smart that the sametime, gaining respect in crimal and business circles alike. At the present he is trying to get a busines started, He is trying to figure out how to activate his bloodline, he is makeing connections with people in Chicago and the like to help further himself and his plans. He is doing import/export work still. He is a full member of Chicago's Retribution now and is looking into learning more about the occult. As of lately, he found out about some of the other supers in Chicago. He is now Following the Witch of the Crossroads and is an apprentice under Ethan Rossi. As of late Spiro and Charles Hubert Humphrey, have started Gallery Ericthonius (near Central Park). It is a place of art and discustion. Seeing it as away to bring the kindred of chicago together, despite all the politics.

The Women In His Life (His Ghoul)

enlarge_4cgi.jpg

Noel was such a pretty creature to Spiro, when he first layed his eyes on her he knew she had to be his. Mabe it was her youth or her looks, but some how Noel made him feel more alive then a dead man should. After a few meeting he decided he whould make her his ghoul, so one night he took her back to his place and some how they ended up in the shower together. That would be when he started the process of makeing her his forever. Over the next few nights he would finish it all up. From that time she has been the best to him and been very loyal. always looking out and takeing care of him. For somereason after recent events he has become very close to her, treating Noel better then most any ghoul gets treated. In some starnge way he is in love with her. It is all rather strange and new to him, but he likes it none the less....

The Dream (Changed forever)

Happened 7/07/08...

In his dream it would seem he lost everyone close to him, he seen each one of them die first hand in the darkness....It would seem many years past and he was alone in that darkness, after they all died....He grew angry and ashamed at himself for being to weak to stop what happened to his friends and his ghoul and losing his connection to the gods...So much so that he searched in that darkness for anyway to end his own life...He searched for what seemed like many more year, he began to mentally crumble it seemed....Finally beaten and broken mentally he gave up and layed there in that darkness....Thinking it all was finally gonna end and in that haze he seen the Witch (The lady of the cross roads.), so thinking himself crazy he followed and as he followed it seem she lead him out of it.....Upon coming out of that hellish thing, he found himself changed....Never wanting to feel that alone again, he would draw closer to Noel most of all and then the group....Valing to try and follow the Father path in the Crone to the best of his ability....Always wanting to have people around him and wanting them to learn from what he had to teach.... Seeing as he had many years under his belt all ready and in even all his years he had never been through some shit like that.........Mentally he just felt the need some there all the time and that is why he would draw close to Noel, even her being a ghoul...He learned in that dream it did not matter what you are.....The young must be taken in care of and teached.........But from now on he would have what looked like sadness in his eyes....Always fearing that the loss he seen and felt in the dream would come true...

The others (Well aleast im not alone in this messed up world)

DaevaSymbol_bl.gif: Our only serious rivals. Watch them as you would a deadly viper.

nosferatuSymbol_bl3.gif: What was it Machiavelli said about love and fear?

gangrelSymbol_bl.gif: Stray dogs with sharp teeth. Train them when you can.

MekhetSymbol_bl.jpg: Acknowledge their wisdom, but be sure they know they have their place.

Lupines: You can no more rule their kingdoms than you can rule a wildfire. Treat them with care — or avoid them if you want to see another night.

Mages: Do not try to understand their powers. You cannot. Do not use your powers upon them. Their revenge, should you fail, will be terrible. Their fears and desires, however, remain human — and so you can bend them to your will.

Mortals: Rule them, use them, feed upon them without pity. They are born to serve and suffer and never know why.

Writings on the wall (Quotes)

Feel free to leave anything you want.....

"Spiro? well he sure is one hell of a Man. Saved my life and after my sister Joi went missing and Joel was put in Rehab, I didn't know what to do. But Spiro was an Angel to me, still is. OH! and he was nice to let my Older Brother Franky come stay with us.... Yep that Spiro is my Saint on this Earth... and he is going to stay that way for a very long time *giggles*"- Noel Philips Loyal Loving Ghoul.

"He's powerful, and he and I share similar links, I can trust him so far as I can. But even one who was a fellow Sipan can only be trusted so much before they can see your true self. He's a good man and great at what he does, if a little pushy." - Tristao "Tristan" de Porto Shadow in training, Formerly of the Crone.

"He is a true friend, both to me and Emilia. I am glad to have met him." - Grant Vandreckt, Nosferatu
"I like him. He is friends with Grant and is nice to me, too." - Emilia, Grant's Ghoul

"A good man. Richer than God himself, by the looks of him. And he only drinks wine? *sighs* The spoils of the wealthy."Craig Dalquest

"Strong and resilient... Spiro leaves an impression. Standing tall in the face of pain and loss, I'm sure he'll do well in the Circle." Bones

"Wow. Looking pretty good for someone almost a hundred years old. And apparently my Ethan's student? That's a little weird, but hey, I'm not going to tease. Much. Well, at least not until after I get him to teach me a little Nahuatl... Wait wait wait. Does this mean Ethan's even older?" - Virginia Reiley, Ethan's Ghoul

"<In Spanish> Spiro serves powers far more demanding then my own. The gods of blood certainly demand only the highest from him." - Estevan Estrellano, Acolyte

"Spiro's the last of a dying breed. A Ventrue with a sense of humour!" - Charles Hubert Humphrey

"*Chuckles* You know, for a person that a made fun of the first time a met him, we have become what might be considered friends. Maybe acquaintances. No doubt that, at the least." - Alec Jackson, Savage, and fellow Chorus member.

"Spiro...hmm Spiro what to say about Spiro... how about he's crazy, in a good way, mostly, but hey he's my sire what am I gonna do?" - Alecander Xanthis

"Spiro? He's ok, crazy I think but ok. Lots of his kind seem that way, so can't fault'em for it. When he's not actin' crazy though he seems ok." - Cody

"I'm a little tea pot, short and stout. Here is my handle, and here is my spout. When I get all steamed up, hear me shout. Tip, me over and pour me out... The fact that he doesn't sing... all to often, makes it unlikely that I will ever hear this song from him, but when I do? Oh man. It is going to be awesome. Seriously though, one of my best friends, and greatest allies. The mask is freaking amazing to. Just saying. It is like Halloween, every night. And everyone loves their Candy." Alec Jackson

"Ok, I'm not saying I'm sane, but Spiro should be locked away in a huge padded cell. He isn't that bad, and at times I find him amusing, but he shot himself on Alec's couch, yeah in my book that's called bleeping crazy." Mercedes Marvellii
