The True Black Hand
The Vampire Storyteller's Guide updates the Tal'mahe'ra sect originally introduced in Dirty Secrets of the Black Hand following the Week of Nightmares and Ends of Empire metaplot, where shadow enoch is destroyed by a spirit nuke. The umbral Soul Eater virus is retconned to be a Vicissitude infection created by the Tzimisce antediluvian. The Tal'mahe'ra is presented less as an illuminati conspiracy, and more like a small faction trying to influence Vampire sects with plants and sleeper agents.
