"Who are you pretty girl? Who are you deep inside?" She asked as she reached for the kimono clad girl, stroking her chestnut brown hair.

"I...I am my mother's daughter. Born of love and of two worlds made one. Born of the flick of a fan and the knot of a carpet."

"And we can make you so much more. We can make you more than that, and we can show you who you really are." She said with an enigmatic grin.

"Who I really am? But....I know who I really am. How can you show me something like that when you don't even know me?" The girl asked foolishly. It was to be the last thing she ever asked, the last thing she would ever utter with unchanged lips and a heart that did not bear the scarred ring to prove she had learned who she really was. The only thing that would be left of her would be her mother's pearls, luminescent beads upon a hard cement floor.

Come And See His Golden Flower

Name: Violet Hashi, Golden Flower
Seeming: Fairest
Kith: Dancer
Motley: Chrysopoeia
Court: Spring
Eye Color: Vibrant Blue
Hair Color: Jet Black
Skin: Golden
Height: 5'1"
Weight: 98 lbs
Court: Spring (Mantle: 2)
Known Merits: Striking Looks + 1
Description: Violet Hashi is a woman of great poise and kindness. Her eyes are like twin skies, as blue as the most mild of March days and just as warm. It is hard not to see it there and it is hard, unless one wants to, to think it's disingenuous. She is a dying breed, a misunderstood breed. A woman who cares with all that she is, and extends a kind hand or word to everyone she can. She has long hair of midnight silken tresses that reaches all the way down past her bottom. Her ears are peaked dramatically at the tips, her lips a large pillowy pout, her eyes enlarged

There is so little love. So little kindness. So little compassion in the world around us. We were all taken. We were all treated with atrocity and inhumanity. Each one of us was treated as if we were nothing more than objects to do our master's bidding. How can we then, with truth in our hearts, do the same to each other?

How can we justify looking into the eyes of another and calling them false? How can we countenance the murder, torture and maiming of one of our own? How can we not feel the sorrow in their lives as if it were not our own?

I don't understand. I can never understand. This is not who I am. This is not who I have survived to be. This cannot be.

I am not True Fae, we are not True Fae. We are something else. Something better. Something above their reach. Something they will never understand, for we alone can feel with all that we are. We alone can shape ourselves into something better. We alone can bond with our fellows and forge between us understanding and empathy. For only we can be found when we are Lost.

To Rise Anew

The Mask's New Identity (oo)

Name: Amirah Nikara Shafi
DOB: Same
Birth Place: San Francisco, California
Nationality: Iranian, Israeli and Turkish
Description: Medium chestnut brown hair, striking blue eyes, trim toned body and a smile that would kill a thousand poets.

A skilled dancer, Amirah wishes she could say she exploded on to the Chicago theatrical stage. However the truth was, she'd be turned away from every audition she'd had. Belly dancing wasn't as easy as it had looked on the TV and pulling it off untrained was a little harder than she had expected. Now she's fallen back on old training and tried to break into the scene of traditional Japanese dance. It's hard making it to the top in a racially exclusive world...especially when outwardly you are no longer of that race.

She appears as a wealthy socialite, clad in what looks to be designer clothes. Knock offs are easy to find when the Golden Mile is just a hop skip and a jump away. Her hair is usually up, drawing attention to her striking features. Her voice is soft, almost angelic in it's beauty. Her ever present smile has an almost bubbly sincerity.

Today, your story begins.

"A thought occurs: One must remember to reserve judgment until one is in possession of all the facts. More and more Violet proves that her keeper bred her a true fairest, but one that accepts her lot, and excels in its execution once the boundaries of the path are made clear." - from 'Thoughts as a Prisoner of War.' - Nicholas Church

Edward shuffles through his deck of cards as he speaks, his tone solemn, "She pulled me out of a dark place in my life and didn't let go. She showed me that there's still colour in this world." His fingers single out a card, removing it, eyes flicking down to regard it. As he flips the card around to reveal its face he doesn't seem the least bit surprised: "Queen of Hearts." - Edward Willem

"Violet bears all the great symbols of her court. Inspiring beauty, grace, and manner. Unfortunately, I am one of few to realize she truly has her heart set on creating a better life for all Lost... One of few to know she isn't throwing smiles for the sake of good impressions. The mudslinging is tiresome: I don't give a damn who the hell you think she is, I know her better than that. To lift your nose is to show your throat." The edges of his lips curl up into a grin, revealing the ends of thick, pointed fangs. "... Remember that." - Barrett Lowe

  • "..." *She makes a sad smile and softly nod in a thankful manner* - Alicia Wonders

"Violet is something very alien to me. She is a lovely creature don't get me wrong... but she's also a politician. I don't get her, I never will." - Aidan Doughal - Tommyknocker

"Its amazing that one so beautiful can vomit forth so much refuse and attempt to dress it up as polite conversation. I mean this chick makes Robo-Tyler look like 'the intellectual' in terms of forward political planning. Nice nails though.... Well some of them are." - John_Lucien_Grillo

"It's hard to figure that girl out. She's all sunshine and smiles, tryin' so hard to make everyone think she's their best friend. But you can see the crazy peekin' out from the edges of that mask, and it explodes if things ain't goin' her way. Oh! That's who she reminds me of! Those preppy cheerleaders running for student council in high school! Girls who wouldn't lower themselves to talk to you most of the year, but buddy up to you for your vote.... I hated those bitches. Still, she amuses me, so I don't want to strangle her. For now." - Roxy Ramone

"Violet... Hmm. She has a lot of potential. Unfortunately her forays into politics, regardless of her skill, have been disastrous for her in terms of earning the ire of those who dislike such things. Squeamishness ill-becomes one who has fought back through the hedge. And yet, despite all that, I still think she can be useful. There are so many Fairests of my court who do little more than look pretty, so that one who tries to rise above that is worth encouraging. She's stumbled along the way, but she's getting there." - Robert Duquesne

"A lesson in evolution. An otherwise typical Lily that found herself planted in a rose garden. She learned to grow thorns." - Quinn Shepard AkA The General.

"A pleasant woman and very sincere in her actions thus far, from what I could tell. Haven't seen her at all lately in the Manse though. Wonder why?" - Bob Romero

--Jaime scratches his neck and the tattoo's on his body whirl into a dark crimson shade.-- "Violet...Violet fue la primera que encontro en mucho tiempo. Ella fue como un angel...dulce, bonita, y como si fue fabricada de amor. Que yo puedo decir de ella que no fui deci antes? Nada. No se que yo hace sin ella. Pero escuchame, ella es muy importante a mi, y si ud piense que puede hablar de ella come te quieres sin consequencia, te destruyo." - Jaime Valderrama

Translation: "Violet...Violet was the first I had met in a long time. She was like an angel....sweet, beautiful, and it was as if she was made of love. What can I say that hasn't already been said? Nothing. I don't know what I would do without her. But listen to me, she is very important to me, and if you think you can talk about her as you wish without any consequence, I'll destroy you."

"Not quite the creature I had anticipated her to be. She will be carved of glass as it will bring me joy...until the time where I grow bored then I will have to remold her again. Time is so fickle with mortals." Andre DePutain |Minister to Justine Lasky, Daeva of the First Estate

"How rare a pleasure to meet one whom seems to have nothing to fear but fear itself? I disagree entirely on her perceptions, though I'll defend her right to them to the death. well, not my death..." - Kelly Carwin

"She's a tad misguided, her plans are always bordering on the insane..but at least she sticks to her guns and believes like I do that the war is going to cause more damage the more we let it contorl our emotions. Plus she's one hell of a fun person to hang out with." Allison (Gearbox) Smith

"Ms. Hashi is easily noticed. Whether it is for good or bad, she is noticable. I do not envy this talent of hers. Mel Feord

"Vi? Yeah., gorgeous, but determined too. She has a lot on her plate. I get the feeling she and I would be a LOT closer friends, if she had the time. If its to be. cool, I have the time to wait." Grace "Belle" Quintain

"...Who?" Tilts head. - Fushia Saulwick

"Say what you will about Violet-chan, but you cannot deny that she is a Spring Courtier at heart, no matter what else you might have to say. Out of all that I've met, she's one of the few that has never been anything more than exceedingly kind, polite, and understanding, advising me towards places, ideas... yes, even feelings, that I would have otherwise remained unaware of, perhaps for as long as I have days left to live. I owe her many, many things, and I can guarantee you that, should you choose to do her harm, you'll be courting the Wrath of a dragon. And trust me, when I say that a sleeping dragon is best left asleep." - Yazi

"She's..." *A blast of steam erupts from under his collar.* "... great." Tommy Barlowe (Tom Tinker)

"The text of this book matches the cover. It'd do many well to realize such." - Lourdes Walker

*fapfapfapfapfap* - Nathan -Sammael- Bernard
